 The integrated Network of care of medical emergencies (RISUM) of the region of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, held last Thursday in Marrakech, its first meeting at the initiative of the Centre hospitalier universitaire (CHU) Mohammed VI of Marrakech and the regional Directorate of health.

First meeting of its kind at the national level, this day has been dedicated to make the point about the state of progress of the RISUM at the level of the region and to share the experience with the Service'aide médicale urgente (SAMU) of the other regions, and CHU. "The keys to the success of a system emergency is the coaching and the organization. It is also very important to organize ongoing evaluations to improve the system of emergency," said Abdeslam Bikrat, wali of the region of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, who applauded the achievements of the university hospital Mohammed VI, who is endowed with great skills. For its part, mhamed Harif, director of the university hospital Mohammed VI, has pointed out that this meeting was an opportunity for professionals to share experiences and communicate around the challenges.

This meeting placed around the theme "do we Organize in networks and pathways of care to better support emergency" was also intended to engage the dynamics of implementation of care pathways for specific trauma, cardiology, psychiatry, and obstetrics). 
The implementation of care pathways, allows a consistent and graded care, a support adapted to the needs of the person on the plane diagnosis and care, the standardization of the procedures and the journey of the patient, as well as a better coordination between all stakeholders and a better assessment. It will also allow the involvement of all stakeholders in the chain of decision-making, categorization of structures, and prioritization of care, the development of procedures for the care, control, and transfer and the development of indicators for monitoring and evaluation.
